Family Practice Physician needed for this Out-patient only opportunity. This is a salaried position with generous salary and benefit package. There is a Hospitalist program operating at the neighboring hospital so no In-patient work is required. Call schedule is still required of 1:8 for telephone call duties.
This opportunity is located within easy reach of the ocean in a semi-rural area surrounded by a rapidly growing population of retirees as well as young families seeking a higher quality of life. There is a wide variety of affordable housing available. The group provides four weeks vacation each year along with a schedule that is engineered for flexibility. Many of the physicians in the group arrange their schedules to accommodate a four-day work week. Many other cultural and recreational attractions are available in the area. In addition to easy access to the beach, the area is developing as one of the premiere golf resort destinations on the east coast. He currently admits his own patients, but since there is a hospitalist program, they would discuss the option of making this an outpatient position. They would also consider a locums candidate available right away who could do OP only—travel and lodging paid. This position is employed with full benefits including covered malpractice. Patient volume is 20-25 per day. 20% are under the age of 19 and very few are under the age of 3. Salary is competitive and will depend on candidates experience and credentials.
