Family Practice Physician with or without OB needed in Western Iowa. This is an employed position in a virtually new facility. Current physician sees about 25-30 patients per day, call 1/5. An ER group covers ER and does their best to handle admissions so you have very few incidents that you are called in for. The area is doing 420 OB’s per year… the OB/G physician is doing half of these. The rest is shared between 7 FP’s.
There are 30 physicians at the main facility at a very up-to-date 100-bed hospital, with a new surgery center just completed.
This opening is caused by a physician whose spouse has been relocated and he is available for you to chat with to "Really see what type of practice this is".
Offering very competitive compensation and benefit package as an employee. Nebraska Service Area. This is an employed position that offers housing for very small rent. Great State benefits. Will take GP, IM, FP, or other specialties. Works with patients in residential facility. Most are mild-severely retarded and may be wheelchair bound.
