A busy regional airport is available 90 miles away, with several flights per day to Salt Lake City, and Denver, making travel anywhere in the world readily accessible. The community enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, rafting, sporting events and more. The industries are agriculture, cattle, and transportation. We have a small town atmosphere and our hospital and clinic are very close-knit and considered family. We strive as an organization to help put families first for patients and our employees. Licensure in MT takes only 2-3 months to obtain. Current OB volume is only 70 deliveries per year. Staffed with four EMPLOYED family practice physicians and one physician assistant. Salary $180,000 or 40% gross production, physician's choice. CME allowances ($2,000), malpractice paid, State, DEA, and MMLP dues paid.
For those who value time away from the practice we have a generous vacation allowance:
- 205 worked days year 1
- 200 worked days year 2
- 195 worked days all following years
Call is 1:5. We are attached to a 20 bed Critical Access Hospital and 45 Resident Nursing Home. The new physician would have 4-5 other physicians to act as mentors or support staff and you have a very experienced nursing staff and business office to rely upon. Every physician has a pod to work out of. A pod consists of 3 exam rooms, 1 office, and a nurse's desk. We have a fully based PAC system. The radiology images are available on your desk with audio and video. We will be building and implementing a plan for EMR in the next 1-2 years. This truly is an excellent practice environment as evidenced by some of our physicians remaining with us for 20+ years.
Medical education is very costly, and we are able to offer LOAN REPAYMENT from the state of MT in the amount of $100,000 for 60 months of service, PLUS federal loan repayment programs through NHSC designation that they can apply for annually. Lots of hunting and fishing. 1 1/2 hr. to city for amenities. Less than 5K population in this quiet, family community with low crime and excellent schools.

FPs or ?, with experience and interest in ER works fine. 24 hour shifts....will be 5 ER physicians when a new one comes on board. Approx 7 shifts per month gives you lots of time to enjoy all of the outdoor recreation whether it be world-class fishing, hiking, downhill skiing or whatever. This is an employed position with a full benefit package. ER sees about 5K patients in a year and there is an Urgent Care center that sees about 5K patients a year and is manned by a mid-level. There of course, is no call involved. When you are on 24 hour shift, there is a room at the hospital for sleeping and relaxing when you are not busy. Wonderful place to raise a family and have a practice that will allow time to enjoy yourself. Salary offer will be competitive plus the full benefit package.
