Central Arkansas Hospitalist The candidate will be joining an existing team of 7 Hospitalists. We are looking to add new physicians to the group because of the growing number of primary care physicians who are referring 100% of their admissions to our group. This group practices as a solid team and decisions are made by the group as a whole. The schedule is flexibe and based on input from all group members. Although it varies, the average census per doctor is approximately 18-25 inpatients. The compensation for this opportunity is a net income model. This group has a very high income for IM/Hospitalists. The overhead for the group is minimal. There are excellent benefits offered including health, dental and retirement. Our physicians are part of the largest physician network in the state so their malpractice premiums are considerably lower than the norm. The group has a Practice Management Administrator who oversees all the billing and day to day issues. Any needs or questions that the doctors have are handled by the PMA. The group also has access to a certified coding specialist. The hospital utilizes an EMR which the physicians have access to from home. The physicians also have access to their patient's test results etc., via their PDA’s which can be used either while rounding or while out of the hospital.
