 NJFP/OBFaculty121907 Faculty position available for a Family Practitioner doing OB. This position is to join a well established residency program with 21 residents. The new faculty member will be in charge of the OB curriculum for the program and co-manage the program with back up from the OB's at the hospital. The successful candidate will also do some didactic teaching and manage a patient load along with the residents. Call is 1:4 or 1:5 for OB and 1:7 for Family practice. There are roughly 100 deliveries per year handled through the residency. This is a salaried position with additional income for call and deliveries. In addition all overhead is paid along with a generous benefit package. The ability to speak medical Spanish is a big plus but not required. The hospital is affiliated with an academic center and affords the opportunity to participate in clinical trials. This position is located in a quaint historic town with several colleges and Universities in the area. There is easy access to both New York and Philadelphia for weekend excursions and all the cultural activities available in large metropolitan areas. The town itself provides a quiet environment in which to raise a family complete with parks, swimming pool, golf, water sports and many other outdoor activities, excellent schools and a wide variety of housing options.
