Faculty position available for a Family Practitioner doing OB. This position is to join a well established residency program with 21 residents. The new faculty member will be in charge of the OB curriculum for the program and co-manage the program with back up from the OB's at the hospital. The successful candidate will also do some didactic teaching and manage a patient load along with the residents. Call is 1:4 or 1:5 for OB and 1:7 for Family practice. There are roughly 100 deliveries per year handled through the residency. This is a salaried position with additional income for call and deliveries. In addition all overhead is paid along with a generous benefit package. The ability to speak medical Spanish is a big plus but not required. The hospital is affiliated with an academic center and affords the opportunity to participate in clinical trials.
