The service is very popular with area physicians, works closely with the very busy ER (over 35,000 ER visits per year) and enjoys a robust specialty staff. The schedule is 5 days on, 5 days off. The hospital has completed a large renovation and infrastructure renewal process with a cath lab, MRI, 16-slice CT, PACS system and electronic medical records in place.
