Excellent opportunity for a BE/BC Internist to join a large multispecialty group, as they recruit an Internist for an exceptional, employed position only one hour from the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Join eight other Internists in a primary care environment that, while busy (average 25 to 30 patients per physician per day) is entirely outpatient, as Hospitalists take care of inpatient care. Call is very light–-one weekend per month, rounds only, plus Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night call once every three months. Compensation includes an exceptional salary, plus a bonus and a comprehensive benefits plan. Fantastic location, home to 36,000 residents, just 60 miles north of Dallas. Home to several Fortune 100 industries as well as to Austin College, this thriving community offers excellent schools, beautiful scenery, and a variety of shopping, restaurants and hotels. It’s proximity to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex affords you access to every urban amenity, while retaining the unhurried atmosphere of a smaller community.

A brand new, full-service community hospital located less than 20 minutes north of Austin, is looking for Family Physicians and Internists to meet the needs of this fast-growing and highly desirable area. If you’re looking for a burgeoning market in which to establish a private practice or are interested in employment with a hospital-owned practice, look no farther. Austin suburbs, exploding population, great housing and schools, loads of business potential. The Hospital is a beautiful new community hospital that combines the best in form and function for patient-oriented health care services. Licensed for 150-beds, the hospital opened in December 2007 with 75 beds staffed for operation and with the remaining patient rooms completed so they can be opened as the census grows. Physician and patient friendly design and layout includes a beautiful Medical Office Building attached to the hospital to facilitate efficient time management. They offer a comprehensive recruitment package that may include: Cash Collections Guarantee for the first year OR Base Salary plus incentive Compensation, Commencement Bonus, Relocation and CME expenses, Practice Start-up and Marketing assistance, Medical Education Stipend, Medical Education Loan Repayment or Tail Coverage assistance possible, and more. And, remember, Texas is a Tort Reform State and has No Personal Income Tax! To call this area ‘fast growing’ is a significant understatement. The 2000 population of this very attractive suburb of Austin was 26,049; its estimated 2005 population was 52,058! People are flocking to the area for it’s proximity to the ‘Live Music Capital of the World’, low cost of living, abundant housing options, excellent educational reputation and great climate. The excitement and night-life of Austin are only about 20 minutes away, while recreational water activities are easily available on Lake Travis (10 miles west) part of a nearby 5-lake system.
