This is a suburban area-- 30 minutes to metro area. With increasing patient volumes and medical center Stroke Program (First Stroke Accreditation in Tennessee) including a new Neuro Critical Care unit that is independent from regular CCU, a Fellowship-trained Neurologist is needed. Hospital will set up in private practice and call shared with two others in nearby community. Draw of 100,000 between two counties. Neurologist recently left to pursue fellowship so he needs to be replaced. Big market with little competition. Area has a small college, good employment, Tennessee River nearby. The hospital will pay very well for a good candidate and offer a large sign-on bonus plus huge benefits package. Nashville under an hour away.
