Outstanding opportunity to join two other ObGyns in their busy practice. Call will be shared equally at 1:3 and it is expected that the new physician will be very busy from day one. Several practice options exist including: hospital employment, employment with future transition into private practice, or private practice with an income guarantee. Income or salary is based on MGMA or GMENAC median data plus additional bonus income for production over the 50th percentile. Full health and dental benefits, sign-on bonus, relocation, CME, etc., are also being offered. You will work out of only one hospital with service area population of 110,000. Named in the top 25 “connected” hospitals by Health Imaging and IT, they have a brand new 100,000 square feet of space encompassing ER and patient rooms that overlook Upper Klamath Lake. They’ve also achieved more than 90th percentile in Press Ganey patient satisfaction score. With a multitude of diagnostic and interventional support services and an infrastructure to support medical practices, the Hospital is deeply committed to partnering with physicians to ensure their success. As for the location, you it’s one of the Pacific Northwest’s most breathtaking. Named one of the next 50 towns to live in by National Geographic Adventure, it is a “not-so-rural community” of 50,000 people. Medical Economics magazine lists Oregon as the sixth best state for physicians to practice medicine and the city is listed as the "Best Town You've Never Heard of" in Oregon. It is located at the base of the beautiful Cascades Mountains. At 4,000 feet above sea level, it offers four seasons, mild climate, affordable housing, arts, theater, and culture. The community is easily navigable, with brief commutes. To travel farther afield, commuter flights go to San Francisco and Portland several times per day. Recreational activities abound in the outdoors. World-class fishing, hunting, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting, ATVing, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, etc., are all available and frequent hobbies of the community residents. The incredible natural beauty of the Northwest’s largest fresh water lake, the Pacific water fowl migratory flyway, and the access to Pacific Crest Trail all make the area a relaxing and simply amazing place to live and to call home.
