You will be joining the three Medical Oncologists and a Physician Assistant currently practicing in this rapidly growing hospital based oncology practice. This is an opportunity to join a team as they expand their programs and develop affiliations with academic programs in the area. The practice opportunity is with a comprehensive oncology program that integrates medical oncology, radiation oncology, infusion services, and oncology support services all in one facility that is accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer. The position also includes the opportunity to support and develop the network of outpatient oncology clinics in the service area. The Oncology Center serves a market area of over 200,000 citizens in Southwest Georgia. In 2005, the most recent year of complete cancer registry data, there were over 750 newly diagnosed cancer patients added to the hospital’s cancer database. The opportunity also exists to help develop a teaching program in oncology. Great location just thirty minutes to metro Tallahassee and all it has to offer.
