 Excellent opportunity for an experienced, Hem/Onc to join two others as part of a newly built Cancer Center. This new Cancer Center (opened in November 2008) is complete with medical oncology, radiation oncology, and outpatient imaging. The outpatient center, where it is located will also provide PT/OT/fitness center, dietary support, and psychiatry/psychology. Our current oncologists are board certified in both hematology and oncology and take care of a variety of patients including those with leukemia. The practice is comprised of approximately 30% hematology and 70% oncology. Area has new cancer center and is complete with medical oncology, radiation oncology, outpatient imaging (open infrastructure MRI and CT), and family educational resource center. The outpatient facility, where it is located, will also provide PT/OT/fitness center, dietary support, and psychiatry/psychology services. The practice is comprised of approximately 30% hematology and 70% oncology. Group is also active in clinical trials through affiliation with nearby university. Compensation will depend on experience and credentials. Medical center will provide a 2 year guarantee with option to convert to productivity model. Full standard benefits including malpractice and relocation. Call will be 1:3. Position is in central Missouri.

 BC/BE Hematologist Oncologist needed for employed position in southern Missouri. Hospital has new cancer center planned. Two cath labs within hospital, MRI, 4 and 8 slice CT's, Varian linear accelerator and on-site infusion services center; PET Scanner is a mobile unit that is at hospital once a week. Compensation in the MGMA's 75th percentile. Patient volume of approximately 12-18 patients per day. Excellent Benefit package including health, dental, vision, long-term disability and life insurance. CME allowance of $3,000.00 annually. Professional Dues up to $1,500.00 annually. Malpractice insurance provided. 30 days paid time off (PTO). Pension/Retirement Plan. Service area is nearly 80,000. Area has plenty of cultural, social, and recreational amenities.
